Ford Country Sedan 1957 Description

1957 Ford Country Sedan is an unrestored 60 year old car that runs and drives very good for a 60 year old car. This car has original suspension, engine and trans. have never been rebuilt, the interior is original. The only non-original items on the car are the radio(Custom Auto Sound) so the dash is uncut and I have the original (nonworking) Town and Country radio, the valve covers are reproduction T-Bird ( I have the original black Thunderbird V-8) valve covers, it has had an electric fan and an after market temp gauge added under the dash but all very easy to put back to stock. It has had some paint work over the years but some is still original. I am the 4th owner of the car all previous were long time owners. I would call this a solid 10 footer but has flaws when you are up close on it, the white paint is thin in spots, has a couple of scratches and chips, as well as a couple of dings. The chrome has never been redone and the bright work is original but shows well. The interior has the original black rubber floor and all original door panels, seats, and headliner. The dash pad was replaced. The only known issues are the speedometer does not work and the dash lights on the gauge cluster do not as well, The cluster will have to be sent off to be rebuilt, but the fuel gauge works.
