Ford Country Sedan 1957 Description
I'm offering for sale my long wanted project and also my BRAND NEW trailer if interested. The wagon: !957 Ford Country Sedan: Great project car. need some things but mega cool. has a great body considering the age. Came out of Montana and only has some rust in the rockers and toe boards in the floors. Couple of spots in the bottom doglegs of the front fenders and a small spot behind the left rear wheel well in the cargo area. So will not need full floors. Will need all weatherstripping around the windows but all glass is perfect. has some dings and dents especially in the front of the hood. It rolled into a tow vehicle while moving it around the farm before I received it. Grille sections have lost some chrome and have surface rust but not eaten up and some dents. However, t's a great base for a restoration or resto-mod. Resto-mod was the way I was going to go with it. Comes factory with a 312 T-Bird and factory power steering. Has the padded dash option which is a little more rare. The rear seats fold down without problem and the rear glass and gate are perfect. No rust in either one which you won't find in a wagon unless it's already restored or has been kept indoors for the last 60 years. Believe it or not, f you put a battery in it, verything works. Gauges, eadlights, aillights...hell even the dome light works!!!! The brakes however do not work. I think the master cylinder needs rebuilt. I almost had the engine running. It rolled over but the carburetor almost blew fuel everywhere. I took it off for rebuild but unfortunately haven't gotten back to it. So the carb needs finished or put on a newer one. It is a two barrel but it's VIN'ed as a 4 barrel. The intakes were switched by the original owner to put it on a 2 door hardtop to make it more desirable. But I do have a 4 barrel intake I would be willing to part with separately. This is a great little wagon and I hate to part with it, ut necessity comes before pleasure.
The Trailer: Brand new 2016 Tiger car hauler. 3500 pound axles. Steel deck, ideaway ramps. 2 inch ball. Has brakes on both axles with brake away switch. Only reason I would consider selling it is because I realize now I need a 22 footer and not an 18 footer. Kind if an expensive mistake, ut I guess you live and learn.
I will sell this as a package. Drive in, ook up and pull home. But I will also separate the two. If you'd like just the wagon, 'll sell it and unload it. If you'd like just the trailer, 'll unload the wagon and you can come get it. If you want to buuy one or the other, ontact me and I will let you know the price of either one, ust tell me which of the two you are interested in.
If you have anyone close that can come inspect/look at these PLEASE have them come out and also if you have any questions about ANYTHING, LEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask!!!!!
