Ford Pinto Cruisin Wagon 1977 Description
Here for your consideration as a fun little car that gets smiles and "thumbs up" everywhere it goes. This is a 1977 Ford Pinto Cruisin' Wagaon. This was part of the Free Wheeling Package that Ford offered on trucks, vans, and Pintos in 1977-1979. You don't run across these very often these days. This Pinto is equipped with the 2.3 litre 4 cylinder engine, C-3 automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, and factory air conditioning. This car runs and drives very well. I believe it has recently had the head reworked and the carb rebuilt. The A/C is all present, but I assume it needs recharging. The AM radio works fine, but Rod Stewart is no longer audible. (probably a broken belt in the 8-track player) This car has it's share of rust in the lower sections of the body, as seen in the photos, but still has great eye appeal at the cruise-ins.The carpet needs replacing. If you are looking at this car with the idea of doing a restoration, do yourself a favor...DON'T. This car is so much fun just the way it is and it will never have the value to justify restoration. You will not be disappointed with the response this car brings, especially from those of us born in the '60's. I bought this car in Ohio. I have an Ohio title that is transferred to my dealership on the back. I will provide a NC reassignment, or if your state has a reassignment form they prefer to use, I will gladly fill out that paperwork if you can send it to me. You will get the Ohio title, reassignment from my dealership, and a bill of sale from my dealership. There are three matching tires on the car while the right front has been changed out for some reason. The tires all look and ride good, but they are old. I drive it locally with no issues, but if it is driven long distance to it's new home, I would invest in a set of tires. I just bought a new set of 13" tires last month for $180 for another car, so they are very reasonable. The spare is the original Goodyear Polysteel radial. Don't miss out on the chance to get into a classic iconic car that you can enjoy immediately and not break the bank in the process. I do have this car for sale locally and reserve the right to end this auction at any time if it sells. Buyer is responsible for transportation to the new home. This car is sold as is.
