1979 FORD RANCHERO GTNo Reserve !1979 was the last year for the iconic Ranchero GT with only 12. 59 in production. This is # 3608. This is a true GT not a clone as shown by the vin #. I purchased the Ranchero GT from the second owner and resided since new in Sunny California by both previous owners. Her home has now been with me in Tennessee. With less than 40. 00 miles on the odometer. she has been pampered and well maintained. The Ranchero is more rare than the El Camino as the El was produced 8 more years. This is a true muscle car of the era. larger and more powerful than the El. Well equipped with the optional 351 V-8 and automatic transmission. Full instrument gauge package including factory tach. All electronics work flawlessly including the original am/fm cassette. power antennae and clock! Grant steering wheel. Mechanically excellent including newer brakes and dual exhausts. Very nice sound. The tires are B. F. Goodrich 235 x 60 x 14 all around. Original wheels. Drives perfect. The exterior was painted a couple years back. No runs. no orange peel. no blemishes. just a terrific job ! As she is driven & enjoyed there are three minor rock chips (more like pebble. LOL!) all touched up. one on the hood. one on the tailgate & one on the drivers door. About 1/8". I figure I'd mention this but I am told sometimes I go overboard looking for perfection. The pin striping & rear stripe accent the exterior very well. If not your style. it is vinyl graphics which can be changed easily. A Rhino lining was also installed. The interior is excellent two tone burgundy and black. The seats are very comfortable. the dash very good (I have always used a dash pad to protect it from the heat & sun). headliner excellent also as the rest. The a/c has been converted to 134-A. Always garaged. The Ranchero is completely stock therefore it will pass stringent European standards & comply inspections. Having too many classics and as I am downsizing (from 4 car garage to 2). I must regretfully let her go to a new owner. I welcome you to inspect and drive her before auction end. You will enjoy her from day one and many hears to come.
