Ford Ranchero 1965 Description

Very rare... specially in this unrestored condition. Excellent condition in all respects. It is over 50 years old but looksand drives

better than many way newer cars. Engine is excellent, starts promptly, idles smoothly, and cruises nicely without all those weird

noises and grinds you expect from older classics. Brakes and suspension are good, Tires are new with the old original caps and

beauty rings. Interior too is above average, with seat having been reupholstered. So what is wrong with it... !st gear is a little noisy

on initial takeoff... quiets and goes away after about 10 miles an hour. No problem on 2nd and 3rd. Thiswas a 3speed column shift

converted to floor shift. FYI: Checked, and there is currently running on ebay a remanufactured 3 speed transmission for $395.
