Ford Other 1957 Description
You are bidding on a 1957 Ford Del Rio Ranch Wagon. The car was restored a while ago with new paint, nterior, lass, indow fuzzies, ubbers, umpers, tainless, ew floor pans and painted black underneath the car. It has a rebuilt 1986 Mustang fuel injected roller motor and an AOD transmission with a reprogrammed computer. At that time a new heat and A/C system was installed, attery was relocated to make room for the mass air meter and aluminum cross flow radiator was installed. Has aluminum exhaust system with an X pipe and Flowmasters. The gas tank was also rebuilt. The front end was rebuilt with Granada spindles and rotors (disc brakes in front, rum rear) with a Pontiac Sunbird power rack. Car is lowered but still rides and handles great. It has 17” Americans with Goodyear P225/55/R17 tires. It has a basecoat, lear coat paint job, 9 out of 10. The interior is very nice ultra leather done in rolled and pleated design. All the moldings are also done in the same material with each one done with one piece of material, o seems. Rear seat folds flat if needed. It has satin paint on the dash, hrome Ididit tilt column with a wheel shop banjo steering wheel. It has a Custom Autosound radio with an Ipod connection and four speakers. The original fresh air vents are there and work perfectly. Clock was converted to electronic and works fine. All windows work as they should, ronts rolling up and down easily and the rear sliders are smooth and also lock. All locks work with the keys. Within the last year the 9” Ford rear was rebuilt with 3.70 gears and all new rear brakes and wheel cylinders were installed. I had a new rear main seal installed, ransmission was serviced and a shaft seal repaired. Car consistently runs at 170 degrees, ith or without the air on, n traffic or at highway speeds and it gets over 20 MPG doing it. Car was featured on My Classic Car with Dennis Gage on the 2007 Cruzin the Coast Edition in Biloxi Mississippi. Mileage listed is not correct, ileage unknown. Thecar is ready to go when you are!
