Ford Other 1957 Description

Selling a 1957 Ford Ranch wagon. This car is a true barn find. The car was one of over 25 cars that I pulled out of an estate that I had purchased. This particular car was kept in a newer metal pole barn where it had sat for at least 10 years. According to what little I know of the car, t did run when parked. One of the pictures shows how the car was found. (It was parked under a green 67 Plymouth Belvedere II on a drive on lift)
I believe the car originally came with a six cylinder, ut at some point was fit with a big block Ford. One of the previous owners friends, old me he thought that it was a 390 cubic inch, ut I cannot say. The motor seems all original with factory intake, olley carburetor, nd exhaust manifolds. The transmission is a manual, ot sure if it is a 3 or 4-speed. Has a long Hurst shifter on the floor, ut appears to have been converted from column shift as the column still has the shifting shaft attached. (see pictures) The car is also equipped with power steering, ower brakes, nd AM radio.
I have not tried to start the car, ut the motor turns and the shifter moves in and out of gears. All the doors and windows work properly. The windshield has a crack on the far right side, ut the rest of the windows are in good shape. The car is in rough shape. It has great patina and would make an ultra cool Ratrod, r perhaps just use it for parts. The car was originally light blue, ut changed at some point. The car appears to be complete. Looking under the car, he frame appears to be in good condition, ut I think the floors have been patched at some point and still need attention. The body is pretty solid, ut when the drivers and passenger doors are opened and closed, he body sides seem to be loose at the bottom. Kind of hard to explain.
The car comes as is / as shown. I have little history on the car. Ask questions before bidding. If you would like pictures of specific points on the car, et me know and I will do my best to get you what you need. I also have the two turbine wheels that are not on the car, s well as a set of what I believe to be the original hubcaps.
The car is in SE Wisconsin, nd you are welcome to come and take a look before bidding. Buyer is responsible for any shipping. I have a clear title for the car in hand.
I am selling the car at NO RESERVE.
