Custom Steering WheelOver $20k invested in this car w/ Receipts to show it! If you would like to see the receipts. you can message me and I will send you the PDF of the receipts with the major restoration and repair items. Major Updates Include a rebuilt 289 engine (original engine. rebuilt to spec) new transmission. power steering. rear drum brakes. and on and on and on. I’m looking to buy a new house so this baby has got to go. but it’s been fun. I’ve owned it for about 2 years. Purchased in March 2013 right here on Ebay. Below are the details of this 1965 Mustang which was manufactured in San Jose. CA and includes the keys along with a clear title ready to go. All receipts included as well as the original manual (pictured). If you would like to examine some of the receipts. I have about 50% of them scanned to a PDF so you can look them over if you like. But. I would need an email or somewhere to send the PDF. The owner will receive the full binder with all the original receipts from the work the last few years. There’s no less than 25 of them which include parts. labor. and anything modified to the car. The bulk of the restore was done by Pacific Coast Tire & Service in CA which you can see by the receipts. -Rebuilt the original 289 engine to spec. <3k miles on the engine since rebuilt -Rebuilt original auto transmission to spec (<3k miles since rebuild). Added all new components. bushings. filter etc -New and updated edlebrock Carb and united. Updated to 4BBL. New Intake Manifold. Gaskets etc -Dual line brakes - Added aftermarket air conditioning unit from Auto Hurricane Unit. Combines Heat and air to one unit (only the A/C hooked up. currently) -New Torq Thurst 16/7 wheels all the way around -New Tie Rods Ends. Adjusting Sleeves -Updated Power Steering Unit -Power Steering Hose -New Electronic Ignition (a must in these cars) -New gaskets everywhere throughout car. No leaks that I’m aware of. Includes transmission. oil pans etc -New fuel pump and filter -New Drive belts -New Power Steering Pulley -New Emergency Brake Cable -New Upper Control Arms -New Brakes (front disc and rear drum rebuilt) -New door hinge springs -New Grant 13” Steering Wheel. Original included as well -New Throttle Cable. brackets etc -New 6 gauge dash cluster black/alum white face for speed. alt. rpm (pictured) -New Seat back adjusting kit -New Clean Agent fire Extinguisher -New Kick panels to support 6” new pioneer speakers in front on both sides -New 6x9 pioneer speakers in the back -New Mustang AM/FM radio (w/ ipod plug in cable) -New Headlights -LED brake lights -Dual Exhaust (Sounds AWESOME) -Original Seats (front and rear) Exterior: The paint is not original. I believe it is originally a Chevrolet blue metallic paint. There are some dings and chipping in the paint. I would give the paint a 7/10 rating. It’s driver quality. Not show quality by any means. but still turns heads. I’ve pictured a few of the most noticeable scratches. dings etc to the paint in the pictures. but there may be more. In addition there are some rust spots underneath the car that you can see on a few of the panels. Ever since I've had the car. the last 2 years. it's garage kept in a heated and cooled area. Interior: Above I listed the new radio. speakers. Ipod compatible etc etc. If I were going to keep the car. I would probably spring for new seats and fix up the leather a bit (it is the original seats). But. I’ve had the seats in it for the last 2 years. and they sit just fine. Some cracks and stains in some places. and I also pictured a little ripping in the back of the seat. but nothing horrendous. Tires: Tires have <2k miles on them. I’d give the tires a 85%-90% tread. Wheels show some wear. but still look fantastic. Again. if I were to keep the car. I would likely work on the seats and currently have an issue with some of the wiring of the vehicle. The turn signals will sometimes not work correctly in the back. and the wiring needs to probably be redone underneath the dash. It blows some fuses and the wiring to/from the radio and that can sometimes cause the A/C not to work. A little TLC should fix this issue. But. for a car in this price range. I think it’s a fantastic vehicle. Most of the major mechanical work has been done or addressed. There’s OVER $20k invested in this car. and I have all the receipts to show it. Overall. I’d give this car an 8/10. It needs some electrical work. but as you can see. a lot has been done to the car.
