Ford F-250 1973 Description

You are bidding on a very nice, low original mile 1973 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special pickup, equipped with the trailer towing package. It was purchased new locally, and has been well cared for its entire life. It's very straight, and runs and drives well. This Camper Special features the big high-power 390 cubic inch engine, heavy-duty automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, Ranger trim package, dual fuel tanks, and more. While the clear coat on the brown repaint is failing, the truck still shows well, and turns heads everywhere she goes. The underside is clean and original, with both fuel tanks properly working. The matching Ginger interior is original and still very nice. The gauge cluster is excellent, and all gauges work. The radio and in-door speakers were replaced with a contemporary CD/Aux/Am/FM unit. The headliner is nice, no cracks on the dash pad, door panels nice. Overall a very nice original interior. There is a small amount of rust on the bed floor, up front near the bulkhead... very common, as people would park the truck with the front facing downhill, trapping water in the bed. It is very clean and solid on the underside, and has no outer-body, cab, floor, rocker, fender, quarter, etc. rust issues. Overall, a very straight, rust-free truck. Under the hood, you will find the truck exactly as it came from the factory; no modifications at all, other than a newer battery, fresh fuel filter and hoses, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc. Runs great; get in, turn the key, and go. This is a good one; buy it, get in, and drive it. If I had to comment on any work it may need in the future, perhaps tie rod ends, or a steering box adjustment; it has a bit of wander in the front end... not bad, just not "like new." The windshield has a crack, and the rear sliding window seals are worn out. Clear title in hand, VIN matches title exactly for export or registration in states that check such things.
