Ford Torino 1973 Description

I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. I listed this car a couple of weeks ago and it did not make the reserve. The owner lowered the reserve to "very affordable". It is a 1973 Ford Gran Torino wagon. The mileage is true at 89588 and the car looks better than that. The interior is just about perfect and is all original. The headliner carpets seats and door panels need nothing. The dash pad has the faintest of age starting to show but there are no cracks. This car has always been garaged. It has always been a California car so there is NO rust anywhere. The paint appears to be the factory paint with a couple of very small touch ups. The body is SUPER STRAIGHT but there is a slight crease below and in between the right side doors. This is shown in one of the last photos. Options are.... Power Steering Disc Brakes Tinted glass Power Rear Window Remote outside mirror Luggage Rack AM/FM 8 track stereo Bumper Guards. Mechanically it needs nothing. It is a 302 with the 2 barrel carburetor. It runs and drives flawlessly. Very tight and quiet. The owner tells me he gets over 20 mpg with it. He bought it from the original owner about 8 years ago. The only thing that needs replacing is the windshield. It has a small crack top center by the rear view mirror. If you want that done I can do it here for $275.00.
