Ford Model T 1926 Description
1926 Model T Speedster. This car was listed on ebay last fall and I won it with the intention of improving it and then re-listing it. It had steering and clutch issues that I addressed. A modified tie rod was added and the complete steering mechanism was gone thru and adjusted. It is now much smoother and reacts instantly to the drivers input. I als replaced the Clutch lever adjustment screw and nut, rake rod clevis pin, low speed connection, Slow speed connection clevis, otter pins and nuts. the complete mechanism was then adjusted to provide a much smoother engagement of the transmission bands and a better neutral. The brakes were also adjusted. The body was color sanded and then buffed to a show car luster. I replaced the floor starter button with a solenoid operated push to start button located on the dash. Being over six feet tall, was a bit cramped in the cockpit, o I replaced the seat back with one considerably thinner. I am now quite comfortable in the seat (the original seat back will accompany the car). The car was lowered to begin with, nd I lowered it an additional 1" both front and back. The Ruckstell shift lever was positioned such that it interfered with smooth braking with my right foot, o I re positioned it and it no longer is an issue. Here is a list of additions to the car:
I will also put up a video of it running and one of it being driven once the rain stops.
The car is located in Eugene, regon and is being offered for sale here, o the auction may end at any time.
Please check out my previous car sales, have sold a few and always received very good responses from the buyers. I am not a dealer, just like speedsters and like working on them even more.I think this is the 8th one I have owned and still have two others in my collection. They can be seen here: customfurniture.net
Good luck with your bidding and happy speeding ;)

A couple of the photos show a "fatman" steering wheel attachment, hat is no longer on the car, ut will be included if desired for an additional charge of $250.00.
