Up for sale a 1978 F-250 Lariat Trailer special.

I’ve been buying these older fords for many years, Restoring driving and enjoying these great trucks.

My honest opinion is the only thing that's wrong with this one is its just 2wd, if it were 4x4 I wouldn't even think of selling it, but i found another Crew cab that I want and can’t afford both.

Let’s start with the most important thing when buying these almost 40 year old trucks.

#1 PAINT.I personally will not buy one that has been "professionally Painted" unless I know the condition before re-paint. Been burned in the past not knowing how much is being covered up.

This has factory paint on about 99% of the truck, I believe there was some paint work on the lower section of the front passenger fender but I can’t tell if its original or not. It looks amazing for the years on it; the hood has some fading but still holds a great shine there is some fading on the tailgate from using your thumb as leverage to open it over the years. (Now that's awesome)

There is also some slight paint wear on the driver side door where you rest your for arm when the window is down. Over all the paint and body is the nicest original one I have ever come across and with the pictures to prove it. It’s NOT a show truck and has paint chips, it has a few scratches and a few very small dings but will not disappoint.

#2 Mechanical odometer says just over 25000 miles is it correct maybe just because of the overall condition but with the driver-side seat cushion worn through it’s probably 125000.

Engine is Factory 460 (WITH WORKING CALIFORNIA SMOG)

The engine has a fresh top end, heads checked and valve seals replaced no need for a full valve job everything looked great.

Carb re-built and everything hot tanked and painted old for blue. Runs great AND passes smog!

Transmission shifts smooth everything working as it should. Engine and transmission have leaks as expected.

#3 Interior well other than A worn out butt section on the driver side this one looks like it rolled of the showroom yesterday.

The amazing part BRAKE CONTROLLER, FACTORY WIPER DELAY, AND FACTORY CB INSTALLED WOW.

CB is all present but doesn't work due to an aftermarket CD player. The dash is flawless not a crack to be seen.

Ac works but not the coldest, This truck was loaded with every interior option i know of.

Has newer style for Super duty wheels on it with tires practically full of tread, but does show some slight weathering. Even has its factory Spare.

I recommend that buyer inspects vehicle in person before purchase, Truck HAS NO WARRANTY WHATS SO EVER.
