On Jan-31-16 at 06:21:59 PST, eller added the following information:Feature car in the January 2014 issue # 125 page 64 of Hemmings Muscle Machines. Weekend Warrior column "Living the Dream".
I have added pictures of the fuel cell in the trunk and pictures of the underside. Did the best I could without a lift.
I assure you there is no rot in this car!
I have been asked by several people as to why I am selling. I have had this car for 8 years, nd would like to find my next intrest a 1965 Mercury Comet.Thank you,Chris
On Jan-31-16 at 08:24:56 PST, eller added the following information:To answer the few watchers question. No, he underside is not painted and does not look as nice as the body. Thr reserve I have reflects this. It is not a rotissery restored concourse show car but it is a very solid car. The floor pans have been left original and honest. This is a driver and after the 51 years of its life, t has been driven. The undercoat you see it the factory original...nothing to hide. No holes or rot of any kind. There is however very lite surface rust in spots which a wire brush would get rid of.
It is not shown much but when I have, t won a couple awards including a Pro Choice Awardin a show that consisted of at least 450 cars.
