Paint is in excellent condition, all original interior in good condition, chrome & bright work in great condition, all glass is original with no cracks, rubber seals on doors, windows, and trunk all work well, lights--horn--turn signals...everything works as originally intended--EXCEPT radio, and rear windows. All four window motors have been replaced and adjusted--the two front window motors work exactly as engineered, the two rear window motors are still new but still need to be adjusted.I don't use them since I've had the AC installed, so there's been no real pressure to push forward on that project. It's got the most beautiful REAL wire wheels that accent the magnificent lines on this much sought after body style!
Here is a fairly complete list of the work that's been professionally done:
•Engine rebuilt by Jasper Engine & Transmission
•Upgraded to Electronic Ignition
•Rebuilt Rear Brakes
•Replaced Front Brake Master Cylinder, Calipers, Pistons, Brake Lines, Pads
•Replaced Rear Axle Seals
•Replaced the Steering Column Grommet (Keeps it from jumping out of gear the way old Fords oftentimes do)
•Replaced all 4 Power Window Motors
•Rebuilt Power Steering Pump
•Rebuilt Steering Box
•This vehicle did not come with factory AC - Installed Classic Auto Air AC...blows extremely cold!!!Works much better than original factory AC, yet looks like factory! (See picture)Uses all existing controls.
•Other New Parts Installed
Holly 4-Barrel Carburetor, Edelbrock Intake Manifold, Edelbrock Polished Valve Covers, High Output Alternator, High Volume Radiator, High Volume Clutch Fan & Shroud, Fuel Pump, Exhaust System (From Header to Exhaust Tips), Battery, Starter, Tires
This is not represented as a "Show Car", although I have entered it in 4 car shows, and won Best in Class in 3 of the 4 shows! It's definitely a head turner! So don't settle for what everybody has...there are so many classic Mustangs & Camaros out there. This is truly a unique automobile!
