Ford Model T 1923 Description

This 1923 Ford Model T 3-door Touring Car is being sold from the estate of lifelong antique Ford car enthusiast, with valid title. It is in remarkable condition for a vehicle more than 90 years old, and has obvious been stored indoors. We do not have a complete history of the vehicle, but will describe it as accurately as possible. We have provided many photographs, so please refer to them to see the car's condition. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have questions, and we will answer them to the best of our ability.
Body:
We have crawled all over this vehicle and it appears to be rust-free. All body panels, running boards, doors and fenders are in near-to-excellent condition -- a few blemishes and scratches, but absolutely solid. We can see that metal was replaced on the rear door sills, but it is not an obvious repair. It looks as though some light body work has been done on the vehicle side panels between the doors and running boards as indicated in the photographs. All lights are intact and in excellent condition.
Top:
The folding convertible top is in excellent condition. It appears to have been professionally replaced within the last couple of years. We have been told that the mechanism is actually from a 1926/27 model. It folds and unfolds smoothly with little effort, and the front aligns and affixes at the windshield posts as it should. The two small back windows are clear and unclouded.
Windshield:
The windshield frame is sold and rust-free. Glass is intact with no chips or scratches, and top half of windshield tips as it should.
Undercarriage:
Undercarriage is extremely clean with normal, occasional surface rust. The muffler appears to be new. Wheels and tires, including the spare tire, are in very good condition, as shown on the photos. 3 spare tires included with the purchase.
Interior:
The seats and door panels appear to have been recently recovered, with no fading, cracks or rips. The wooden floorboards are solid. The ampmeter gauge as been replaced with a different gauge that sits in the dashboard with some open space around the edge.
Engine and drive train:
We have not attempted, nor will we attempt, to start the car. According to the block number, the engine is a 1924. It turns over freely and all wiring is intact. It appears that the coils were stored separately from the car, and have been lost in the estate proceedings. Replacements for all four coils are on order and will be included with the purchase of the car.
