GMC Caballero 1983 Description
I am selling my gorgeous 1983 GMC Caballero, hich is the sister car to the Chevy El Camino. This is the Caballero Amarillo, hich is the model with electric locks and windows, ower steering, nd the sweet two-tone paint job. This is a great car in great condition. 305 V8.Car comes complete with original interior, riginal tape deck, ven have the owner's manual. Bed liner, ustom baby moon hub caps (one missing), lean title and current registration. Just passed DEQ and tags are good through 2017.
The exterior is in great condition, o accidents, o fender benders. Couple of paint chips on the hood, ut it really shines when it's all cleaned up. Bed has a small scrape in the liner but it still looks great. Tires have plenty of tread left.
Interior is sharp and clean, o rips or tears in the upholstery, oof liner is flat and fully intact, ash looks good with only a few small cracks from age. All original knobs and switches on the instruments. Cab light works.
Engine starts up every time and runs smooth. This was a daily driver for me, ut I have a new car now. I still drive it once or twice a week. I kept up oil changes every three months like clockwork. Changed air filter, retty much anything I could work on regularly. Had the breaks done in 2015. Also took it to Wentworth Chevy and had them tune it up and replace a few things. I have a folder with all the paperwork.
Gas isn't too terrible, aybe 15mpg. I never put more than $20 or so a week into it. Really is a rare car in great shape. Took it to a mechanic recently to have him look at it and he said that you're not gonna find another one like this in this condition. So shoot me a text and you can come check it out. Give it a spin. Great car for collectors, r first time drivers as it's pretty easy to work on. It's the best of the old carburetor-styled engines with all the modern touches.
I'll throw in a spare tire, briefcase with some cassettes, ome fluids, teering wheel cover, nd removable center tray with couple holders, tc.
Pick up in Portland Oregon or you pay for shipping.
