GMC Other 1986 Description

Really Really nice vehicle that could conceivably be considered a "survivor" since it's for the most part still original. It was repainted I would guess several years ago and shows it in places, see pics). To those of you familiar with the term, his vehicle is a strong"20 footer". Definately a head turner. Runs, rives, teers, nd stops beautifully, and sounds like a muscle car. It's lopey idle and firm shifts make it really fun to drive. Engine again has been completely de-computerized and has it's original intake and exhaust manifolds with a custom built dual exhaust andFlowmwaster that exit behind the rear tires. The interior is very nice as 30 year old vehicles go. The carpet and sun visors are new, nd the bench seat is in good condition with some wear on the drivers side, ut it's original. The Alpine stereo is MP3 and Sirius capable with a powered sub behind the seat and Boston Acustics speakers. The American Racing Torque Thrusts really set it off, nd yes they do have a couple of curb scrapes (darn drive thru's), ut with some occassional polishing they look great. This vehicle has actually spent it's entire life within 60 miles of her current home here in Oxford. Not a northern car, o salt. When the cam, ifters, nd timing gears and chain were installed it also got new umbrella and o ring seals on the valves. (Appeared to be the original). The a/c was working, ut when the ststem had to be opened up for the cam the orafice tube was checked and it was plugged (probably never changed). A new orafice tube and accumulator were installed but then winter came and it has not been evacuated and re-charged, ut should work better than before. These vehicles are getting scarce, nd actually the Caballero's much more so than the El Camino. Check out the info and the photos and BID!
