The pictures in this ad were taken 4-24-17.
Only the battery, fluids and tires have been changed. Original everything, nothing has been changed or adjusted other than recommended maintenance from GMC dealer. From a private collection and driven primarily for maintenance miles. The truck never sits for long perids of the time. The mileage is appropriate for an all original collector truck of this age.
Interior is in pristine condition, no tears or rips. Both seats are in flawless condition, absolutely no wear on the bolsters. No weird smells, never smoked or eaten in, AC works perfect- super cold, heat works flawlessly, All vents are perfect. Both door panels are perfect, windows roll up and down perfect with no squeaking or sticking, door locks work perfect.
All the lights work, including the factory fog lights. Even the little tiny map lights under the rear view mirror work. Steering wheel in perfect shape, not worn or sticky "hand marks". All original equipment in the interior, including original floor mats, radio, cigerette lighter, all service books, jack and wheel key. Carpet is in pristine condition, not matted or worn. This truck has been protected for 26 years in a private collection. No warning lights on. Truck is perfect inside as it was in 1991.
Exterior paint is all original and has a mirror finish you can shave in if you wanted. All glass is in perfect shape, no chips or cracks. Dark tinted windows. All the cladding is original, not fiberglass or repainted pieces. All stickers are original on the truck, including the dealer option windshield "SYCLONE" sticker.
The truck drives like new, no weird noises or driving issues. Engine is pristine in every way, ALL fluids recently changed and flushed by GMC dealer (records 4/17). Always runs cool. Drives and shifts beautifully, has not been abused or "hard launched" like most other Syclones. It drives and shifts like brand new. This truck is a lot of fun to drive. People who know what this truck is are always shocked by its condition and rarity. Most other Syclones you find have way higher miles, been modified or heavily abused. This truck is perfect for someone wanting a great example of a legendary truck.
A similar truck sold 2 months ago at the Mecum Auction in Florida for $50K. This is a truck for a serious collector, and shows that way. Gateway Classic Cars here in Dallas wanted to list this truck for $45K, save the commission and buy it directly from the owner for thousands less.
Selling to make room for other acquisitions in the collection. This truck deserves a good home. GM should buy it and put it in their museum. Call 972-400-2119
