GMC Sonoma 1991 Description
1991 GMC SYCLONEMARLBORO EDITION1 OF 10 MADEVERY RARE & HARD TO FIND!!!!! Up for sale is a 1991 GMC Syclone. This is not a normal syclone but a ultra rare and collectible Marlboro edition. It is #6 of 10 made and they almost never pop up for sale. If you are not familiar with what this is then you need to do some research if you are familiar with these trucks then you know how hard they are to find and what they are worth. These are the Holy Grails of the Syclone/Typhoon world and true blue chip collectibles. All 10 Marlboro Syclone's were given away in a nationwide sweepstakes and cost over $100000 each to build originally. Lots of big names were involved in the build of the truck. Some of the custom featyures are as follows: Shinoda Design Associates (Larry Shinoda original designer of the corvette) ASC targa top conversion with storage for top in the bed C.R. Laurencepower rear window PPG Hot Licks red paint job Boyd Coddington Wheels with Marlboro racing center caps Goodyear Eagle GSC 245/50/16 tires Recaro Seats Simpson race harnesses Momo steering wheel Complete Sony dcustom audio system Prompaq adjustable performance computer BellTech suspension Borla exhaust Guidon Tonneau cover
It has only 3000 miles on it from new and is essentially perfect in every aspect. This is probably the most well known of the Marlboro's becauser it was owned by well known custom car builder Tom Argue fora large part of it's lifeand has been turned into a total show truck. Basically everything on the truck under the hood was custom polished and the undercarriage fully detailed out. I have seen 2 other Marlboro Syclone's in person and this truck is hands down far superior.
