GMC Vandura 1971 Description

Up for sale is a 1971 GMC Vandura with only 27k original miles. It was built new for the fire department with the largest engine available heavy duty brakes and suspension.I purchased this vehicle in 2003 fromthe fire department with only 16k miles on it. I used this vehicle to haul around band equipment until I left the business. It is equipped with a 220 hp 350ci backed with a TH-350 transmission. It also has heavy duty suspension and 10 ply tires. This spring I replaced the battery fuel pump ignition switch and spark plugs. The transmission was rebuilt3000 miles ago. It needs a brake line in the rear to be put back in service. The body has rust on the lower portion but it has a solid floor and frame. Iwas reluctantto part with it but I have too many projects and do not want to let it sit. This is a no reserve auction.
