GMC Sierra 1500 1976 Description
Nice clean truck for its age. Highly desirable, hard to find big block,short/flatbed, 4x4 combination. Steel flatbed with diamond plate and wood trim. New custom dual exhaust with welded Thrush mufflers. Goodyear HT Wrangler tires in good shape. Newly rebuilt T350 3 speed automatic transmission (I have the receipt). Shifts cleanly and crisply. Recent and current inspection sticker. Full time 4x4, although locking hubs could be added if you prefer a 2wd/4wd option. I recently rebuilt the top end of the 4bblcarburetor . Properly functioning turn signals, lights, brights, reverse lights, brake lights, horn, fan, engine, transmission, power steering, brakes, heat, defroster, wipers (missing one wiper at this time), chain driven 3 speed transfer case. Includes a Warnerfront mounted winch with remote control that plugs intofrom bumper. Truck starts right up every time, runs and sounds great. A real head turner in sound and appearance. Frame condition excellent. Known issues..... a little surface rust here and there as shown in photos. Peeling paint and uneven body panel issues shown in pictures. Washer fluid pump, gas gauge, and fuel tank selector switch do not work (truck has 2 fuel tanks). The interior door handles and the glovebox lock need replacing. Nice new seat upholstery and carpet. The radio powers up, but no sound from the 2 door mounted 6 x 9 speakers. I have not investigated the problem. There is no cooling fan shroud, however the truck does not overheat, even hauling heavy loads here in the hills. Bottom line, a great looking, running, and sounding truck thats ready to drive today, and to take to whatever level of restoration you desire. Feel free ask any questions you may have. I can send more photos upon request. Vehicle sold AS-IS.See a video of this item
