The front end is factory Jeep Dana 30 and the rear end is factory Jeep Dana 20 as it should be. All running gear under this Jeep has been rebuilt and is factory correct and original to this Jeep. This Jeep is also equipped with the factory high end option of Jeep Quadra Trac . Quadra Trac was Jeeps factory AWD option giving the driver superior control and handling of vehicle on the highway or Interstate at high driving speed's. It works = This Classic Jeep CJ drives outstanding ! It's stable and drives and handles more like a car on the Interstate than a JEEP. The Factory 4 Wheel Drive Transfer case is the good "Borg Warner 1339" also rebuilt like new! 4 Wheel Drive transfer case give's you a 4 Wheel drive HIGH RANGE option for street driving. And a 4 Wheel drive LOW RANGE option for OFF ROAD DRIVING off pavement. You don't need to get out of the Jeep to "lock the front hubs". You turn a switch on the dash to engage the 4 wheel drive "locker option" It locks both the front and the rear end together giving equal power to both front and rear end at the sale time. The factory gearing is 3.54 great gearing for a Jeep that can be driven everyday On "or" Off road.
