Jeep CJ 1986 Description

I bought this CJ-7 in 1997 as an extra vehicle for play. A couple of months later it broke a piston, and to make a long story short, it became a future project. There was never enough time for me to have a project vehicle and at this point I just want to sell it and put my money toward a newer Wrangler. It has been sitting in my garage for about 19 years. This will make a good project vehicle for someone who has the time for it. It is not running, and most likely has a thrown rod bearing. It has a lot of components that were put on it new in 1997, i.e., alternator, Weber off-road carb, header, water pump, fuel pump, etc. The body and chassis have almost 151,000 miles, but in good shape. There is light surface rust in a few places but that is about it. I will include a Clifford 6-8 valve cover which is sitting in the back seat area in one of the pictures. I have the back seat but it is not installed at this time. The driver's seat has some damage from the previous owner's dog. The seat frames are in good shape. The previous owner had the exterior painted white but, the interior and engine compartment appear to be the original gold paint. I added Smittybilt tubular bumpers and nerf bars when I bought it in '97. It has a front roll bars which is connected to the rear roll bar. I will include new Bestop top and doors that were purchased a long time ago and never installed, as well as the bikini top that is on it.
