Jeep CJ 1985 Description

Here is my 1985 CJ7 Renegade with just 34k miles. This Jeep was purchased out of California from Jesse Bradford, who is a Hollywood actor in several big screen movies. Original paint, decals, everything! The paint is outstanding and looks very nice! And being it's a California Jeep, it has the desired serpentine belt engine. I'm being very transparent in the description below. You won't find any surprises.
This Jeep is 100% original, just like it came from the factory. The Jeep has both a hard top, hard doors, and a Whitco soft top and doors. There is not a spec of rust anywhere on this Jeep! The floor boards are immaculate and look almost like the day this Jeep left the factory! The frame is as solid as they come! Automatic transmission is very desirable.
The gauges are crystal clear and look great. The clock works, but unfortunately is missing the adjustment knob... but they can be found on eBay. That is the only problem with any of the OEM gauges.
The interior is honey denim and very rare. The interior is mint, except for the driver side seat bottom. As with all of these Jeeps, it did develop a couple of small tears (see pics). These can be repaired by a good upholsterer. The passenger side seat and the rear seat are in mint condition, and so is the OEM honey carpet. The dash pad is perfect with no cracks.
The honey Whitco soft top is not currently installed, but is included with the sale. It is in excellent condition. The windows are very clear. All hardware for the soft top is included with the sale.
The Jeep no longer has the radio. It was removed because it did not work, and I have yet to put a new one in there. The dash is uncut. The engine does have a slight oil leak. I recommend whoever purchases this replace the oil pan and valve cover seals. I just don't have the time to do it. Other then these minor issues, this is one AMAZING Jeep. I encourage you to consider what this Jeep has to offer. It's not repainted, re-striped, and is completely original. You can't build one to this quality for what I'm selling this one for.
$500 deposit is required immediately upon purchase. I am open to offers, but please no ridiculous offers on this Jeep. You simply just can't find them like this anymore. Vehicle is expected to be picked up from my residence within 14 days (10 business days). If you need assistance with transport, I know a good shipper. Remaining balance is due within 3 business days after auction ends. I accept either bank wire transfer, cashier's check, or personal check only for the remaining balance. If paying by personal check, we must wait 5 days for the check to clear the bank before I release the title.
