Jeep Wrangler 1990 Description

Up for sale is my 1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It has been 100% fully restored/ built. Complete frame off build that started in 2008 and was finished in July of 2011. Been driven since then with zero issues and only oil changes and fuel that needed to be added. Everything was either new or rebuilt. Lets start with the tub, t was completely dismantled and smoothed out. Then I had entire tub, xcept for exterior painted surface, ent to LineX and sprayed. Top, ottom, nside....literally everywhere there isn't paint on the Jeep is sprayed with LineX. Front fenders and hood were also sprayed on undersides and fenders sprayed inside so that this Jeep will not rust. It was a very clean tub to start with, ut now it's better than new. Added to the tub were full rocksliders. These are not the flashy ones for looking at, hese literally wrap under Jeep and protect the bottom side. Although they have never been put to use yet so no scratches from rocks. I welded a complete custom rear bumper from 3/16th steel to the rear. Has a receiver in it for trailer hitch or winch or whatever you want to do with it. Also done at that time was all new seals, ncluding all new seals for the doors. Yes, have full doors for it too. I have only used them a couple of times, ut do have them and they are painted to match Jeep. I have the interior pieces for them, lthough they are not on as i was just going to buy new when I decided to use them. The hinges and all brackets and door latches were bought new and done in black stainless. The seats are stock except for the covers on them. Now for the suspension. Front is stock Dana 30, ut with all upgraded components. Completely rebuilt and added high steer kit, ith drag link and tie rods. All new bearings and gears added to both axles. Posi Lok actuated for 4X4. Rear is a Ford 8.8 and is all new too. Geared to 4.88:1 to match tires. Rear was converted to disc brakes when the 8.8 was added. Made a HUGE difference in braking. This Jeep will stop on a dime with very little effort. Brake lines, aster cylinder were all new during build. Shocks are Bilstein 5150 on all four corners. Axles are sitting under Rubicon Express 1 1/2 inch SOA (Spring Over Axle) springs. These springs are soft and ride absolutely amazing. I have friends that have TJs and even JKs that say my Jeep rides better than theirs!! It rides very smooth on county roads and awesome on black top, bsolutely no bucking; however, n town at slow speeds on concrete surfaces where they cut lines about every 12 feet, t gets the typical Jeep buck in it. On the interstate doing 75 - 80 you can take your hands off of steering wheel and my Jeep with drive straight and predictable. I have plenty of caster built into steering angle to aid in making my Jeep a very nice driver. Driveshafts are both CV style and built by Tom Woods and Denny's Driveshaft. The rear is Denny's and the front is Tom Woods. *****The only thing missing from this Jeep are locking axles. I did not put them in when I built the Jeep as I didn't know which ones I wanted yet and never had a need for them when out wheeling.****** Now for the heart of the beast......Powering this Jeep is the venerable LS1 6.0 motor backed by a 4L60E transmission with the Jeep 231 transfer case. The motor is all stock except for upgraded valve body and headers. I had heads, am and intake for it, ut after driving it, ealized it had way too much power already. This Jeep is wicked fast and is a blast to drive. I can gaurantee a smile with every outing. Yes, t will pull the front tires off the ground if it can get traction. If traction is an issue, e prepared for a very long burnout with a second gear chirp. I had to fabricate a custom ladder bar for the rear to keep springs from wrapping up. It works flawlessly and allows rear to articlulate as it should. Motor was not rebuilt, ut rather had very low milage when I bought it. Transmission had less than 10k on it when I bought it and was used as well. The transfer case was upgraded with the correct components to allow it to bolt to the 4L60 and had new bearings installed and all new seals. It was also upgraded to elimiate the slip yoke on the rear to allow for a longer CV driveshaft. Tires are Goodyear Wrangler MTRs. 37 X 12.5 X 15. I only bought 4 when I bought them and do not have a spare tire yet, s I've been trying to find a match for them. The rear bumper was made with a tire carrier, ut since I don't have a spare tire, sn't pictured with Jeep. It's very strong and made especially to carry the weight and size of the 37 inch tire. Radiator is all aluminum and has never had an issue keeping Jeep cool. We routinely do Poker Runs in 95+ degree weather and it never goes about 195 on the gauge. The tranny cooler is a remote cooler with it's own fan and sits under the Jeep in the rear. Tranny always runs cooler than the motor by about 50 degrees. Exhaust is a custom dual with crossover pipe and welded mufflers. It not only sounds mean, ut sounds very clean. Pretty much like a muscle car but very mello at idle untill you open it up and then it just sounds plain mean. It is shifted with a B&M mega ratchet shifter. The top is a Bestop that was new 1 year ago with tinted windows. Although, never use it, bought it because you never know when mother nature is going to pop up on you. The radio is also very nice and you will not have any issue hearing it driving down the road at 80. Deck is a Kenwood and has USB, ux inputs and CD player as well. Speakers in front are Infinity with overhead soundbar. There is an Infinity Sub in rear. All speakers are ran through a 5 channel amp. Gauges are all Auto Meter. You will have Tach, peedo, uel, olts, il Pressure, otor Temp and Tranny Temp gauges. Motor is fuel injected and is ran by computer. I used to old "Check Emissions" light for the check engine light. Blinkers and lights all work as they should, ncluding light on shifter to know what gear you are in. It does have a typical OBD II connected to connect a scan tool to and communicate with transmission and motor. The tune on the motor is custom as well as tranny tune. All adjusted for tire size and firm shifting. This Jeep runs and drives absolutely amazing and is a blast to drive. I built it for myself and I am very particular at everything I do and have done to this Jeep. Absolutely nothing went untouched or left alone. This is a new Jeep in an old skin. Only reason for selling is my family has grown up and kids don't fit in back like they used to, o they have asked for me to buy a boat. Well, he wife says that if I buy another toy, hen one must go.....so here it is. I know I have left a lot out of the description as there is much more, ut the pictures speak to the attention to detail of the Jeep. I have no problem answering questions, o please ask if you have any. I have every receipt for everything done to the JEEP. I do not have access to a shipper, o please make your own arrangements. If you are going to be around the Lincoln, E area and want a closer look, ust email me and let me know. Thanks for looking, nd good luck bidding.
