I purchased this 1977 Mercury Monarch Club Coupe classic car in like new condition at an estate auction in April. It is considered by most to be a RARE antique. This vehicle has been a single owner vehicle and has less than 62000 original miles on it. Everything you see is factory. Both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition and it has won several car show trophies. It has a lot of get up and go and is fun to drive. The rear axle ratio is a little unusual Code 6 -with a 3.00 to 1 gearing. Has lots of torque and snappy off the mark. I have had it up to 110 MPH (shhhhh) with quite a bit still left in her. I ordered a Marti Report to see if it would tell me just how rare it is but unfortunately it doesn't really address the areas I was interested in as far as numbers go. This vehicle is considered rare for several reasons: 1) it has a manual 3 speed transmission with overdrive on the floor and 2) the front seats are bucket seats.
