For sale is grandfather's almost new 1973 Mercury MX Brougham Time capsule. Bought new in York, A 4-26-1973 at York Lincoln Mercury for $4,910.86. The car has only 19,619 original miles on it. The car was always garage kept and well taken of. It has 100% of its original paint (Ford- bright red color) which is very shiny. I would say the only thing ever replaced were the tires and oil. The car has its normal dings and stone-chips for a 42 year-old car. The interior is mint, ike new. The rim blow steering wheel does work, t has a split bench seat with fold down arm rest to make it look like bucket seats. Car came new with air conditioning, ut will need to add freon. Also it has a rear window defogger. The engine is a 351 Windsor V8, utomatic on the column, nd has power steering, nd power brakes. This car drives like a new car. The entire car has all of its original ink stampings from the factory as it was being built. The original spare is in the trunk, ith a factory Ford lock on it. I put a new battery in the car (in the last year or two), nd replaced the fuel pump recently.There is a lot of the original paperwork that will come with it.
