1977 Mercury Comet / Maverick

Mercury Other 1977 Description

Up for sale is my 1977 Mercury comet. I am assuming there is 117*** miles on this car being the Odo shows 17788. But who knows, with the shape its in and how the engine runs, the odometer may be actual mileage. I'll leave that to you. As you can see someone put a Maverick front end on and small bumpers front and rear. Vinyl top was replaced at some point and is in real nice shape. Just needs cleaned and dressed. Wheels are from a late 70's Lincoln. The car was originally light yellow. I had planned to put it back to this with black stripes with the vinyl roof. Engine runs really nice and is torquey for the little 6. The car has power steering. The car has front disc brakes. Transmission goes right into all gears and shifts fine. I did a tune up, rebuilt the carb and installed a new fuel pump. This car has very, very little rust. Someone took care of it. The worst part is the front of the hood. The undercarriage is where this car really shines. Just look how solid it is for a Comet/Maverick! You're not going to find many like this for what I'm asking. Just do a nice paint and run the way it is or do a nice resto. The possibilities are endless with this car.
