Oldsmobile 442 1968 Description

Two kids under 2 are forcing this sale. If I drove it more than a couple hundred miles a year and money was no object, I'd be keeping this for my son to drive in 15 years.
1968 Cutlass S Convertible done over as a 442 Tribute. 442 badges and Oldmobile emblems where the Cutlass and S were. Drivetrain is obviously very different.
Scarlet Red with Black top and dark red interior.
Originally a 350 / 2 speed powerglide.
Now sports an LY6 out of a 2009 Silverado 2500 with 60k Miles. 2010 Camaro intake and fuel rails to clear the hood. Hooker headers and custom exhaust all the way out back.
TH400 out of a 67 Chevelle rebuilt with a shift kit.
Installed an SC&C Stage 2 Suspension kit this past winter.
JGC steering box and new ragjoint, tie rod ends, idler arms, everything.
Discs up front, drums in back. New master cylinder, rotors and pads as of this year.
14x7 rallye wheels. 225/70R14 BFGs with 90% tread.
Be-cool 4 core radiator. Spahl Electric Fans.
Custom electrical harness.
Installed an autometer Tach in place of the clock.
Kenwood deck with Polk kick-panel speakers.
Interior is otherwise stock and in great shape. Top has no rips or holes and is in fine shape
Mechanically the car is outstanding.
Bodywise, it's a great 10 footer. Paintjob is at least 15 years old. There are a couple of dime size bubbles on the bottom of the passenger door, and a silver dollar sized hole in the trunk. That's it for issues.
The car is a TON of fun to drive, especially with the suspension upgrade. Has never failed to start on me and never had any issues. I consistently get 20mpg around town and 23mpg on the highway.
Serious buyers only. Between work and the kids, I don't have time for tirekickers, but anyone who is serious, I'd be happy to show it to.
Looking to get$19,500 OBO.
