Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 1949 Description

For sale. 1949 Oldsmobile 88. This is a very sharp Oldsmobile. This car could be driven as is for parades or a daily driver. It could also be restored to 100% without breaking your budget. Car comes with a more modern 403 Oldsmobile motor and automatic transmission. Runs, drives, and stops good. Car would need new gas tank, interior finished, and floors to be perfect. The outer body of the car looks fantastic. It is teal colored with metal flake. I just drove this in our hometown parade a week ago. It would need to be trailered home if bought. I ran it off of the gas tank in the parade, but decided to just run it off of a 2 1/2 gallon jug of gas because it was picking up too much rust from the tank. It is a fun car to drive. Plenty of motor for the size of the car. If you are looking to getting into a cool looking, pretty car for a low price, rather than paying for a high dollar restored one, this would be a good one to purchase.
