Plymouth Belvedere II 1966 Description
For your consideration is a very fine example of one of the RAREST muscle cars left on the road today. It is a Plymouth Belvedere II Convertible cloned to look exactly like a 1967 GTX Superstreet convertible. RH27E6....Vin Code...Starting with R=Belvedere/Satellite...H= Belvedere II...27= 2 Door Convertible...E= 318 Motor...6= 1966. To start with this car was born with a 318 Automatic. Right now it is powered by a 1 pump turn-key 383 Big Block Super Commando Automatic. It starts runs and drives much better than when it left the factory. When I started to take the pictures it started raining so please disregard the spots that you see on the roof and windshield. The car was only out for 1 minute in the rain. This car is similar to the one used in the movie Tommy Boy with Chris Farley.Compare my car to this Ebay item # 351678945543. It is what my car is cloned to be. This car will not sell for under $60,000. You can have mine for a third of the price.
Please let the pictures serve as the biggest part of the item description as they are very easy to zoom. The car had a previous frame off restoration and has been garaged kept for its entire life since the restoration. The paint on the car is fair...although it shows like a show car because it is a custom paint job... I am a person who buys, ells, nd restores vehicles and I personally would repaint it to make it show quality. It is a driver quality custom paint job. The roof on the car is also in good shape with 2 small imperfections that I did get in 1 picture. The top was so tight on the bars that it did cause some wear holes. But not enough that I would change the roof. There are no leaks because of them...it is purely cosmetic and they are hardly worn through...but they are detectable so I have to mention them as an honest seller. The window in the rear is plastic and is also in good condition. The top is power and works flawlessly.
The car has BRAND NEW Bumper Boys Triple Chrome plated bumpers...front and rear...which were just put on and the cost was $3000. The motor is a freshly rebuilt 383 Super Commando Automatic. It is absolutely one of the nicest sounding 383 motors I have ever heard with custom dual exhaust going into Flowmasters. The motor, ranny and rear are 100%. The interior is Brand New as well...Bench seat door panels and carpet are brand new. Unmolested original dash with the original radio. Column Shift. The car drives excellent. Tires and rims are also in excellent condition. I can go on and on about this beautiful Belvedere. This car is a 1966... and in 1967 they used this exact car to produce one of the rarest cars known to American muscle car history...the 1967 GTX Superstreet convertible. To find a 1967 GTX Superstreet convertible you would have to mortgage your house to buy it. Here is your chance to own an exact replica of one of the rarest muscle cars ever built. The 1967 GTX was only built for 1 year on the Belvedere body style and it was exactly the body of the 1966. With a fresh Big Block that sounds SICK! Also this car has the very rare Super Street Hood which really makes it special. Just do your homework on some of the information that I have provided. It really is a special low production piece.
Also, lease read the article called " The least junked car in America" in Hotrod.com. It really gives you a lot of info on this car. Tons of informative information.
There are no warranties or guarantees implied or given on vintage vehicles. This car is being sold as is with no warranties or guarantees. I also reserve the right to cancel this auction as per Ebay rules at any time as I have the vehicle listed locally.
I have this car set up with a simple BIN. According to the Classic car price guide...it is underpriced for its condition. I priced it for a quick sale..not to sit on it and dream of a price that you just cant get. If you put a paint job on this car the value will increase by $10k. I don't have any paint shops that I would entrust this car to so that is the only reason it is for sale...and not for any other reason. If you decide to purchase it please note that an IMMEDIATE NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is required upon hitting the buy it now. Please do not hit the BIN if you plan to pay a deposit and then cancel the purchase. This is a Buy It Now auction and all sales are final. Final payment is cash only at pickup. No certified or bank checks of any kind. If you must get a bank or certified check, ou must make it out to yourself and cash it before you pick up the car. For purchasers that live too far away to pay cash...I will offer you a bank wire transfer option. The person who purchases the car should send a note with the $500 deposit informing me of the type of final payment that they will be making.
I encourage you to come and see my car in person and I will take you for a drive. It is registered and insured. I have the car insured with Hagerty insurance for $30,000 and they have no problem insuring it for more if I choose to do so. If you live too far to personally come and see it, lease feel free to send ANY reputable inspection company to my home and they can inspect it. I will also take the inspector for a test drive. Inspection companies do not lie because their reputation depends on Honest reporting. I will make myself available to you or any inspection company if you give me 1 day notice to be available.
I have been an Ebay member for over 12 years with a 100% buyer and seller feedback rating. My other account name is rickysworld1... I encourage you to read my detailed seller feedbacks in both of my accounts. I will always go the extra mile for any sale large or small to make it a pleasant experience for both of us. I am very easy to reach through the Ebay messaging system. If you have any questions or if you realize I have left something out of the ad, lease send me a message and I will respond within 24 hours and usually much sooner.
Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please get shipping quotes BEFORE purchasing this car so there are no surprises. The car is located in Marlboro NJ...in Monmouth County. 07746 zip code. I will make myself available to you when you or your shipper comes and assist in the loading of the vehicle if necessary.
