Pontiac Le Mans 1975 Description

This is a 1975 Pontiac Le Mans Safari in very good and extremely drivable condition.
The Chassis and body are in excellent shape with no major rot or signs of major damage or repair. Underneath the car looks solid as can be. There are some bubbles under the paint on the body in a few places, he worst of which is just above the passenger side window (see close up picture). The body is generally very straight with just a few dings and dents. The worst dent is on the left front fender and even it is pretty mild (also see close up picture). The paint is fair with some touch ups and scratches here and there but overall the car still looks really nice and clean and gets lots of thumbs up and positive comments. All five doors open and shut nicely and fit great.
The Interior is in fairly good condition. The headliner is really nice. The front bench seat has some tape over splits but is still very comfortable. The rear seat is in great condition. The windshield has a few small rock chips otherwise all the glass is excellent. The rear hatch opens and fits perfect and the rear seat can fold down into a very large cargo (or sleeping) area. All 6 seatbelts are present and working. All the instruments are working. The heat and defrost work great. It has a AM/FM cassette stereo. This car is equipped with air conditioning which all looks very complete but not currently working. It will probably need charging and service to function again.
Mechanically this Pontiac really shines. The 400 CID V-8 runs excellent. It starts very easily, as tons of power and is very smooth and quiet. The automatic gearbox works perfectly. The brakes are great. The suspension is excellent (the shocks look fairly new). The steering is tight and effortless. It really drives great without any weird squeaks or noises of any kind. The engine belts are fairly new. The battery is fairly new. The exhaust is in excellent condition. The tires are also fairly new and in great shape. It has a good spare.
Overall this car is in very nice condition. It drives superbly and is completely ready to be driven anywhere. If a tow hitch was installed it would make an excellent tow vehicle for a vintage boat, amper, ace car etc. It's truly a time capsule of the mid 1970's. It has a clear title and is currently licensed. It comes with a folder with some history and receipts. The original owners manual is still in the glovebox.
