Pontiac Catalina 1968 Description

Here is a '68 Pontiac Catalina two door hardtop, solid Western car currently located in Illinois with a good Illinois title in my name. It has a 400 engine and TH400 automatic transmission. Power Steering, power brakes, and add-on air conditioning. Has not run in several years and I did not attempt to start as it should be checked over first. Brakes will need work as well.
Body is very solid for its age, with nothing hidden under any recent bodywork. It apparently had a vinyl top at one time, and the roof is in great condition. Interior floors are in great shape, other than being dented in behind the rear seats from some careless lifting. Should hammer out and look like new. Trunk floor will however need some work due to a leaky seal and a rubber floor mat trapping moisture. As a typical Western car, the paint is baked away and the interior will need to be redone due to too much sunlight. I have a dash pad that is better, but still has one crack. Front seat just has a cover over it for now and I have a matching cover for the rear seat.
The car is located about 70 miles southwest of Chicago and can be inspected at any time before bidding. All sales are final, sold as-is, where-is with no warrantee of any kind. Payment must clear before vehicle is removed. Shipping cost is responsibility of the buyer. I may be able to help arrange transport as I have transport permits and access to loadboards.
