Studebaker 1947 Description

1947 Studebaker M5 half ton pickup truck. Originally out of New Jersey as an oil company's service truck. Made into a hot rod in central Mass back in the mid 50's with an Olds Rocket motor and automatic transmission. Oh yes it has rot rust dents dings scratches and tetanus. We found the truck sitting since 1960 ( last photo ) as you see the exterior and did not mess with it. The Rocket was seized and it was replaced with an early 70's 350 Chevy with turbo 350 transmission which both function well and smooth. Rear axle is a 1953 Cadillac banjo . This truck runs drives and stops well. Used as a shop truck for a few years. Reliable enjoyable as is and attention getting. Valid paperwork. NO zero feedback bidders. NO shipping.
