Willys Utility Truck 1962 Description
1962 Willys truck. 7,000 GVW. 6 cylinder Flat head with a 3 speed transmission and a Warn Overdrive. Truck runs and drives! I drove this from Doylestown to YorkFairgroundsfor the Jeep show back in September with no trouble. Makes the hour drive to and from work a couple of times a week. Does need rust repair so take a good look at the pictures. I have the original 16 inch tires and wheels with trim rings that will go with the Willys. The whole brake system has been replaced with the exception of the rear rubber and steel line on the back rear. I rebuilt thecarburetor with a basic rebuild kit. It's better than it was but not perfect. The forks sticking up in the rear are part of an old Liftgate from some sort of big Dump truck from the 50's. It did work but the motor has gone bad. It's not welded to the Willys frame. It actually has it's own sub frame so it can be removed without much trouble. The fuel tank id actually a 17 gallon RCI fuel cell mounted in the tool box. Everything works with the exception of the lift gate and the spot light. The tires are 31x10.50R15 Mud Terrain on 15x9 aluminum wheels. Tires may have 1000 miles on them. Any questions feel free to ask or stop by to check it out in person!Check out my other items! On Oct-19-15 at 09:27:39 PDT, eller added the following information:I have had a lot of questions about shipping. A tractor trailer car carrier can not come to my home due to low phone lines. Any other hauler is welcome here at home. There is a large shopping center just down the road (Less than a minute) from here. I can drive the Willys down and meet the carrier there with no problems. Hope this helps! Thanks, teve (cooljeep)
