Ford Mustang 1964 Description

Up for bids is this 1964 1/2 ford mustang coupe. These are hard to find that have all the original 64 1/2 stuff on them. This one is basically a complete original barn fresh car that is ready to be restored. It also has a good title with all the door tag and numbers under the hood all still in tact. This would make someone a beautiful car restored. It sat in a barn in missouri for many many years until it was found a few years ago. Someone started working on it a long time ago and never finished. The car has a factory 260 engine in it with the generator. It has the correct headlight buckets and hood for a 64 1/2. It also has the oval shaped seat risers. There are several differences in them you just have to know what to look for. It will run. The motor will need refreshing as it probably hasn't ever been tore into and has some age on it. It will crank and run around the yard. The brakes are weak. The transmission will shift. I just got it to where it would run so whoever would be interested in it would know that everything is in working order just needs to be restored. The underdash lights work. As far as rust the frame sections are good. The trunk floor is good. The floor pans are okay depending on what you are wanting to do to it. The doors have some rust at the bottom outside corner that will need patching. The fenders are useable just need some patching at the bottoms. The rear quarters will need some work at the bottoms. I have included a drivers rear quarter panel to go with it. The hood has a few spots that will need attention but is useable. Basically what you see is what you get. Its a project. It will have to be trailered. I also have the corral for the grille. I have a better trunk lid that will also be included. Out of all the coupes these are probably the hardest to find other that hipo cars. This would be a good investment if you are looking to build one.
