1973 Jeep CJ5 RenegadeFrame-off restorationThe Renegade II was introduced in 1971 and had only a few cosmetic changes including brighter paint options and better wheel/tire combos. By 1972 the CJ5 package became the renegade as the number I and II were dropped. The AMC 304 V8 and a beefier drivetrain were included. The '73 Renegade went unchanged essentially. with only minor cosmetic changes. Although relatively few Renegades were built up until this point. by 1974 the CJ's were becoming popular and AMC began producing more of these hot packages. Up for auction we have this beautiful solid steel CJ5. Complete frame off restoration. starting with a rock solid rust free body and frame - unlike many projects that require body filler and metal patching to complete. This Jeep was solid from the beginning. Too much to list as far as all the new parts. the pictures speak for themselves! the engine has been gone through and freshened up with factory rebuild kit. It runs awesome! The complete drivline has been serviced and gone through to make this Jeep dependable. Clutch is NEW. transfer case works as it should - NO ISSUES. NO NOISES.
