for sale i have a true 1979 firebird formula that is a mostly original project car with a 4.9L non turbo 301 V8 four barrel with an automatic trans and a 2;73 non posi rear. the car has power windows power door locks ac factory gaugesbut no tach it had tilt steering but the bearings in the column went out so i replaced it with a straight one. original tilt column is included in the sale if you would like to replace the bearings in it. it comes with the original owners manual and other original paperworkalso has the original jacktire inflater and factory build sheet. i bought the car 17 years ago as my daily driver and i am the cars 3rd owner to my knowledge it is a mostly original car. the only parts that have been changed is the heater core radiator was upgraded to a four core water pump fuel pump belts & hoses alternator starter brakes rotorsdrums. engine transmission and rear are all original. car has a true dual exhaust installed about 2006 by a local garage. car was completely redone in 2002 and repainted the original two tone color but is showing signs of terrible body work in the lower quarters. the frame rails were replaced trunk floor extentions as well as the under rear seat floors. so all the hard work is done to the car. the car has been off the road since 2007 due to fuel delivery problems so could be other problems that i'm unaware of at the moment. i think the carb needs rebuilt but can't be sure it runs when it wants to run but being sold as non running. other work it needs is the headliner is coming down but i have a headliner included with the sale front seats should be recovered due to cracks in the vinyl and the dash has a sun crack in it. there is a stone chip in the windshield but i have a windshield to go with it as well. it will also need a rear seal in the motor because when it does start it has a pretty good oil leak. THE CRAGAR SST'S THAT ARE ON THE CAR ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS SALE IT WILL COME WITH THE FACTORY PONTIAC RALLY WHEELS WITH THE TRIM RINGS AND CENTER CAPS THAT ARE PAINTED TO MATCH THE CAR WITH ROLLER TIRES ON THEM. look over the pictures good as you will need to do some work on this car it is by no means a turn key driver and will need to be trailored away. car has a clear PA title and will do all necessary paperwork on my end if you are an out of state buyer. car is for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the sale early if it sells locally. buyer is responsible for shipping cost and arrangements. a non refundable deposit of $500.00 is due immediately by pal pal with full payment in 4-5 days after the end of the auction. car will not be shipped until all funds have cleared and is paid in full but also can work with you on pick-up timing as it does not have to be picked up immediately. however also not responsible for any damage that may result if if it's not picked up right due to weather or any other factor. if the car does not meet my reserve i will offer it to the high bidder at reserve price may possibly negotiate a little. i don't have to sell the car just looking to fund other projects i have. don't contact me and ask the reserve price the only way to find that out is bid. so good luck and bid to win !!!!
