Pontiac Le Mans 1964 Description

64 Lemans Post Coupe.. This lemans appears to be optioned the same way as the GTO's, but does not have a GTO hood, and has a Lemans emblem on the Grille where there should be a GTO emblem, leadingme to believe it was set up as a GTO clone.
The good:-The rear end is a 10 bolt with posi, I havent checked the gear ratio, but its fairly aggressive, the car was set up as a street racer. -The transmission is a TH350 that shifts hard and tight, I would guess it has a 2600 stall. -The motor is a built 400 with 6X heads, jacobs ignition, heads have double valve springs, roller rockers, aggressivecam, edlebrock intake, high compression pitons, headers and dual exhaust. Car brakes street tires free at 40 mph. -The doors close very smooth and line up great. -The quarters have been done-The front bumper needs rechrome, back is very nice
The bad:-Although the car runs drives and stops, it needs restoration to be either a street or track car-The trunk and front floors need to be done
This is a tow or ship home, not a drive home, but it has all the makings of a nice drag car or nice driver.
I have additional parts that I will offer first to the winning bidder like new floor pans, very nice hood and trunk lid, etc.
I will also part out the more expensive pieces if someone doesnt want the whole car. Both doors $1000, Engine $1500, Shell with title $1500, frame with 10 bolt $1200. rear bumper $800. Headlight and grille trim and rear panel taillights and trim $800.
